Animation drawings are typically created in fixed field sizes, which commonly range from 3 to 12 inches. For instance, a 12F drawing would measure 12 inches in width and approximately 8.85 inches in height, which is roughly equivalent to a 4:3 aspect ratio. Similarly, a 6F drawing would have a width of 6 inches, and so forth.

The size of your animation drawings is ultimately a matter of personal preference.
While the 12F size is often utilized as a default size for TV production.
You may find that working with a smaller or larger size, such as 8F or 16F, better suits your needs.
Larger field sizes are typically employed in cinema work where more precise drawing is required. However, the aspect ratio of your drawings will be determined by the final means of transmission.
If your animation will be displayed on the internet, the aspect ratio is arbitrary.
However, if it is intended for television or cinema use, you must adhere to the screen's aspect ratio to ensure optimal viewing experience.
